Hi ppl

i've been trying to study for GMAT since last yr!! and have already postponed the test twice now....100$ already wasted.....have finally fixed a date. i've vowed to hit the books seriously now...have done the groundwork in collecting the material and do have quite a formidable list there!
but since math sucks am gonna start with a basic math book n plan to finish it in the next 2 weeks. i've also made a basic plan of which all books to study in what order , so u guys can ask me any material related queries u may have

i'm going to regularly update my progress here. ppl lets all buck up n encourage each other to just put in d hours of study...specially those of us who're doing jobs!!

good luck to one n all

Hi Guys...

Was great to see such a thread and many like minded people who are in the same state as I am in.

Well... I have just started, at the moment reading thru the GMAT prep software CD - study material.

Guess, I am too late preparing.

I plan to take my GMAT towards the end of June.

Would like to know, If anybody else has just started preparing?

feel free to guide/suggest on how much rigourous should my preparation be? my score in the GMAT Prep practice test was 550

Hello all...

I have decided about giving GMAT but still doubtful bout admissions for 2009. Can anyone clarify my following doubts.

1) I plan to apply for Europe(excluding UK more of germany netherlands france or denmark) but my academics are pretty bad

10th -- 74%

12th -- 69%

grad -- 54%

Do i stand a good chance of admission wid a good score of gmat???

I have done my mechanical engg n n will have bout 2yr 2 months of exp by aug 2009 besides 6 month of exp n call centre.

I have been working as a design engineer in a dutch comapny and been to netherlands a couple of times.

I have participated in few national level seminars n presentations too..

Also i know basic german maybe will improve it by the time I apply for admissions.

Any suggestions will be welcome.

Thank You

hi,

My scrore in GMAT powerprep test1 is 610.
I too plan to take GMAT in the 2 or 3rd week of
June and I started preparing a week ago.
I visited Mukool's one of Pagal guy experts site
and gathered a lot of information on the kind of material
i'd need to get a decent GMAT score.

I'd suggest you visit that site too.
We could post some tough questions on the thread to allow
others to clarify the answers and let others take a crack at a
question that stumped us...We could generally share our
thoughts will the D-Day...

Welcome to the thread...
