Can somebody help me in solving this........???

In a mile race,Sushant can be given a start of 128m by Manu.If Manu can given
a start of 4m in a 100m dash,Then who out of Sushant and Chetan will win a race
of one and half mile, and what will be final lead given by the winner to the
loser? (one mile is 1600m)

Sushant(1/12miles)Sushant(13/24miles)Chetan(1/11miles)Chetan(3/16miles)

Hi Neo,

I have gone through princeton review and now wanna start with OG10 SC next.

The Manhattan SC that I am having includes problem set from OG10. For each section in manhattan there is a problem set from OG10.

Can you please guide so as to what strategy shall I adopt while solving OG10 SC. Shall I solve all problems at once or shall I solve using individual sections as mentioned in manhattan book.

cheers

Follow the book dude!! The SC is like a guide. The chapters are split so that you understand the various types of errors in SC. Then you practice the problems in OG(according to SCG) that are of a similar type. This will enable you to gain some practice in identifying the errors as and when they appear.

Hopefully Manhattan guide will help in improving SC.

Right now my verbal is in very poor state

What other study material do you suggest to improve RC and CR?

Cheers

Nitin,

Are you missing something in the question? There is no reference to Chetan's speed or start he can be given or any other detail for him.

Question Re: GMAT takers JUL/AUG 2008 - 20-03-2008, 12:31 AM

Hi there,

I am taking my GMAT test in April. I would be applying to B Schools after 3-4 years of work experience. I would like to know whether or not the score recipients that I select will retain the scores for 3-4 years. Does that mean that I do not have to send the scores at the time of application ?

Thanks,
Paras

P.S: I know this might be a newb question but I just want to be sure

Hi,

I also have this book, yet have doubt whether or not I should start preparation with it; since not a single GMAT achiever has suggested for it. All say to start with Kaplan Premier or Princeton Review. So we should get feedback about this book; Otherwise we would waste our valuable time.

Have you got any feedback about this book?

ATB.
