Hi All,

Does anyone know in which bookstore I will get following books in Pune?

1) Manhattan Book (Number Properties)
2) OG Quant book
3) Kaplan Verbal

I already have OG11 and Kaplan Premier. For me Number properties book is at priority.

Thanks for all your input.
I plan to take up GMAT sometime in Jun/Jul.I'm giving myself a good 3 months
before the big day and I have already started preparing.
I have couple of questions for you.
In all GMAT books, like KAPLAN,PRINCETON REV,OG11 there are questions in the
section test and then they have the full length tests. I'm usually done with the questions
in sections in a couple of days leaving me only the full lenght tests which I want
to save till the end. How did you practise before taking full lenght tests?Where did you
get yourslf enough questions to practice?

My second question is,I think I'm not good at sentence correction.How to practice best
for sentence correction questions?

hi guys
i am working in Fidelity and have a work-ex of around 7 months.....
i am a mechanical engineer......and thinking to give GMAT around the same time as most of the people in thread.
Gave CAT when was in final year of engineering and converted MICA.didnt got calls from other top schools due to my low score in English.
It is really fun to interact with u guys bcoz this would be the thing that going to make preparation interesting.
I am solving OG-11 rite now...but let me tell you i am facing big problem in Sentence Correction.Can ne1 one of u gimme sum tips .....???

For starters , you can log onto Mba.com and download the free prep software....its got 2 tests too..

sentence correction i am still a newbie to GMAT and not the best person to advice anyone but I havent found sc so tough. Been solvin OG11 and get most of them right!!
guys try seeing princeton and get the basics right. learn the various kinds of errors that occur usually and then once u have them in ur system u just have to debug ur sentence corr questions.. (and no i am not an it person I am mechie)
its very systematic in most cases. But I must admit a lot depends on how much english was a part of you in ur preceeding years on earth. I learnt english before I learnt nytin other language so such things do play a role but more or less its very systematic :
Know ur errors , find them and get them out.
