Merged two threads that were essentially the same. Please note that this cannot be reversed. I though long and hard about it. The argument put forth was that one was for US schools specifically and one in general. I believe that there should be one thread because you never know who might be able to help you out on a specific school, US or otherwise. With 2 separate threads, there's always a chance that somebody will miss out on one and I didnt want that.
Please posts bouqets/brickbats so that if you'll have a better idea why it should be separate, the same can be followed next year.

baccardisprite made a great post where he said no matter how small, start saving today. You'll are looking at an MBA pretty far ahead. Tuition fee is shooting up so it makes sense for you'll to start saving from today itself. Dont count on FinAid or Scholarships. Even if you do get them, your savings will go a long way in helping you live life a little easier. There are a lot of associated costs with doing an MBA in a top school, costs that dont get reported but are an integral part of b-school life( think dinners, get -togethers,outings.....) | Hey Guys...I intend to pursue my MBA in 09...Are you guys aware of any colleges either in UK or Australia that have January Intake ...My IELTS score is 7 and 6+ yrs of work experience...
Cheers,

Hey Guys...
I had posted a few weeks back on another thread... wasn't sure if I should take the GMAT again: my first attempt was a 700 (Q48,V36)... anyways, I did end up taking it again and now have a 750 (Q50,V42)
I was primarily targeting ISB and the IIMs through the overseas app.
Now, I find myself feeling bolder and want to apply for some good old US biggies as well... even with my 2 years work ex (by Fall 2009) profile.
I was thinking Kellogg and Yale.... will take all advice anyone can give...
Also, is there a thread which has info on how to finance these MBAs?
Thanks a bunch!!! | | | | | | | |

Hi,
I have a current work-ex of 2 years, a score of 700 in GMAT and an above-average academic background. I would be applying this year to International B-schools for the session starting in Fall 2009.
I don't have a lot of information regarding the kind of schools I should be applying to. It would be great if someone could throw light on some schools in the US, Europe, Australia and Singapore that could accept students with a background like mine.
TIA!
Cheers,
