Isn't PowerPrep the old name for GMATPrep ? | search on google you will be able to find them. Or check on esnips.com. Yeah Powerprep is the older one when ETS used to take the GMAT. They will have some questions similar to OG but still its worth to give those tests. | | | | | | | |

Hi Ankush,
Firstly Congratulations on getting such a great score!! its really amazing.
I have just recently joined this community. was going thru the 'threads' when the figure of 770 caught my eye.
I need ur help/tips for gettn a good score.
Would a month's study be enuff to prepare for GMAT? Also when is the latest i should give it if im targetting for the Spring 2008 batch?
Please do help. Im a little lost right now.

i want to get the idea that how many months of prep is usually required for taking GMAT...
i also want to know that does it really matter when to take the test like it happens in GRE???

hi renuka,
A month of prepration may be enough for one person but it may not be enough for the other....so it all depends on person to person.......
What score are you targetting?? And have you giiven some mocks?? let me know some of these things......
I hope you meant Fall 2008 batch...and if you want to target that, then you are already late....mostly R1 deadlines are by mid october or oct end, so if you start GMATprep now u will certainly miss that deadlines......R2 you can target but it all depends on how string you think you can put your application.
