ATB for ur apps | Kaplan Premier Program - buy it
OG 11th Edition - Buy it - though 10th edition iis available online but i will suggest to buy 11th edition.
Kaplan 800 - buy it
OG verbal review - available online - but i used my friend's book - preferable use hard copy
Manhatan SC- available online
I used 11th edition not 10th edition. If you use 10th edition there is a high probability that you will get repeated questions in GMATPrep tests. So peferably use 11th edition | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to ankush_infy For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

Thanks | Shrishti,
try the Manhattan book. I didn't use it personally but I believe it is very good for sentence correction.
Also the difference b/w possibly and probably is like this:
anything is possible in the world right, aliens could attack tom, day after or in another millenia.
probabality says that the chances of that happening are close to o for tom and day after. nobody calculated for the last option
Hope this helps.

Hi Ankush
I have little bit of problem...although I am not active in this thread but was reading all yours and others thread on pagalguy.
I have finished OG Kaplan and K800 still till recently I had a problem of not finishing the verbal test in time missing last 7-8 Qs and scored 650 in GmatPrep now when I had rectified this problem...now accuracy has gone for toss ...result same 660 on GmatPrep. although my og 11 accurary in about 90 % in RC and CR and 75% in SC.
I don't aim for too big just need to cross 710. My exam is only a week away can you suggest me some remedy it would be of great help.
And can you suggest me some more tests as I have run out of them...over with kplan(620,590,580) and GmatPrep

gautam | Hi Gautam
You have very good accuracies in OG11, i think the problem is just with the timings. After reading your post i think you haven't practiced many tests.....i also had this problem of falling short of time in the end in my first 2-3 tests but with sincere efforts i was able to overcome this. But tis requires time which you dont have. I will suggest you to postpone GMAT by 2 weeks, if its possible for you to do so. Practice some tests, try to have sense of urgency in those tests and i am sure you will be ablt to improve and complete the test and with the decent accuracy. I think with a little practice you can very well makit to to your goal of 710.....
If you decide to postpone your exam then you can attempt Kaplan tests. In those tests you will not be be able to score high but they are very good for imporving timings. Ten have you attempted Powerprep. Ofocurse you can unistall GMATPrep again and then install again to give more tests.
Try one thing for now, try givng GMATPREP test again after reinstalling. And just try to do the test with a sense of urgency...dont get stuck up on a question for too long...just mark them after thinking, dont keep on thinking....
whats your breakup of score in GMATPRep till now | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
