HI ALL,
This is an invitation to the Gmat test takers on dec 2007 to share stratergies and prep info. I'm planning to take gmat in the month of dec. Hence any one who has serious intentions of taking Gmat can contribute to this thread.

same here....as of now, i've bought 3 books...
1 princeton review
2 NOVA gmat
3 kaplan

i'll start by brushing up my quant from some CAT material i have and will then move on to these finally ending with OG11

Can anyone tell me what are the common avenues in GMAT and CAT?
I have no idea how to start prep for GMAT. Please give me some tips.

I am too taking up GMAT in december 2007. I have got myself OG 11
. But started preparing Princeton now. I am hoping to make best of the efforts lets say.

HI,
Right now i have started the OG 11 for initial prep. Also bought kaplan 800 will do this next in sequence. Also planning to do kaplan premier series and manhattan sc. It is a lengthy sechedule how ever targetting a score of 750+. Apart from these it is good if we can do 1000 sc and some JJs. Ok that is the way i'm planning to do it What abt others??? Share ur thougths on this....

I am planning to take GMAT in December. I am in Pune. Can anyone tell me procedure to enroll for GMAT exam? Is there any GMAT exam centre in Pune?

Howard,
You can register online for the GMAT at mba.com. As far as I know, there are no test centers in Pune. The nearest test center would be in Mumbai (assuming, you are from Pune).

Cati,
Even I am going through Princeton Review nowadays. Thought it would give me a feel of the different GMAT question types. However, what really put me off was the way the authors have endlessly stressed on fine tuning ones guessing techniques. I am using this book, more as a way to acquaint myself with the GMAT instead of a BRM.

go to www.mba.com and check for date and exam center. You can also pay online and book ur date.

in bangalore no dates are available
