Gmat takers in december 2007

Hi Guys,

I am also planning to retake GMAT on december. I didnt had a good experience in my first attempt, which was on August (M- 47 , V - 27). So i decided to give a second attempt. I did a little google and found out this site which has application deadlines for the colleges. I think there are still lot of good colleges in US where only the first round of deadline is over and second round deadlines are on Jan. I hope that helps. All the best.

i hav fixed my gmat test date in dec 07. but haven't started my preparations yet. can you help me out with the materials you have to support my preparations.
can you suggest me how to follow on my preparation, the best way to get a good score..Me feelin too tensed..

I have slated my GMAT on DEC-6th in bangalore. Targetting just the IIML IMPX. Have to really work hard for less than 10 days are there to the date. !! . Sometimes I do feel that it was a hasty hasty decision, but the window of oppurtunity had opened up and I didnt want to lose that

Given that time is limited, start with the Official Guide 11. Thats the best place to go. The questions are very similar to what u'd get on the GMAT. Parallely, try to read Kaplan Comprehensive Program for Maths and Manhattan for verbal and sentence correction.

if you can get a hold of the 30 odd sets that seem to be doing the rounds lately, try those, you cant find out the score out of 800 but you'll know how many questions are not right in each section.

If you cant find them PM me i'll mail them to you. Also for SC do have a look at the manhattan book, also if you have time look at the manhattan ones for maths. They're pretty good, and cover the topics adequately.

Hi fellas,

after what seemed like ages and eons of prep the d-day finally arrived today. got a 740 (M50,V40). A bit disappointed with the verbal, feel could have done better, but to be honest really relieved.

I have written a debrief here. (Relieved but just a tad bit disappointed 740 (Q50, V40))
