Hi,
If your 3 months of prep starts now, u need to hurry. U can make it to the last rounds of admissions. But try to give u'r GMAT as soon as possible, so that you have enough time for the applications.
Since you have 3 months, u can cover all the books that i've listed. More the practice, the better u'll get. Since you've done basic english prep, start with OG SC. For CR, go through Kaplan GMAT and Princeton Review to get a feel of the questions and then attack SC. In the end, do all these books completely.
Self preparation is sufficient. Be self motivated and find a study partner for company.
All the best!

You have more than enough time. Take a diagnostic. Go through the GMAT prep material. See where you stand. THEN decide about coaching. Honestly, anyone can prepare for GMAT on his/her own. If you do want to make a choice between the two, take this effort to test yourself and then decide.

Thanks,
Are there any online diagnostic tests available?? Also, where can I find the books you have listed in your post. Do I need to order all online because I could arrange only for OG from the Book store in my city. They say, others are out of order.

There is a diagnostic in OG i think. I don't have an idea about any other diagnostic tests.
I don't know how ppl procure the books in Kolkatta. Usually, there are a few shops which sell photocopies of these books. U'll have to ask around and catch hold of some GMATer from Kolkatta. I didn't need to order online as I found them in the Pune book stores.
