Now, when we fought, you had that eye of the tiger, man; the edge! And now you gotta get it back, and the way to get it back is to go back to the beginning. You know what I mean?See that look in their eyes, Rock? You gotta get that look back, Rock. Eye of the tiger, man.

Re: Last month Preps GMAT - 20-07-2007, 07:34 PM

Hi Puys,
Today i gave my gmat n scores r:

total 730

qa 50

va 39

i had actually scheduled it for june mid , just 10days b4 d-day i had taken a mock kaplan n scored only 590 ...got jitters n postponed to today.

last weekend i gave some mocks n wasnt exactly happy with the scores:

princeton - 690, 640

kaplan - 600

arco - 640

seeing those scores i wasnt sure if im ready for this week...then just decided to take a chill pill n strategised for the last week..i had already postponed it twice...here is what i did:
1. went thru kaplan verbal - revised imp pointers
2. tried to finish all the essays.... - read in one of the forums that the essays topics dont change...usually will be one from the list...found it true in my case---- going through the points for the essays in the last 10 days helps u to remember better
3. decided not to take any more tests n lose morale

my previous mocks vent been gr8 either:

gmatprep test 1 - 690

test2 - ok...730 - notice that i have crossed the 700 mark just once

princeton (other 2) - 640 650

kaplan - 610 590

take my example... just because u get a low score in the mocks doesnt mean u ll in the finals too...just sit back relax n give it your best shot...n while giving the exam i was really relaxed today cz i had decided to give it again in case i dont do well....that was a major booster
