GMAT 760 (Q50, V41) ( 9 Jul2k7)

Hi guys,
I took my GMAT on 9th. Got 760(Q50, V41) AWA score -awaited.
Last year, i had a score of 710(50,35) and wanted to improve it. Finally my persistence has paid off.

I am planning to take GMAT in the month of August...
Which tests do u advice?
I took the following tests, but the scores were dismal...
1) Powerprep (in April) - 600
2) Kaplan (June) - 650 (This is the online test, and not the one on the CD...Although, later i realised that this was not adaptive)
3) ETS Paper Test - 650
4) Crack -GMAT Diagnostic Test - 550 (Though the test mentions that actual score wud be 100 point more)
5) Kaplan Paper test - 600

I am confused and not sure which tests to take for practice????
Is Princeton good?

Hey congrats dude...760 is a really good score to have..
When u come down from Cloud 9, please do share ur experiences and prepration stratergies as that will be very helpful for the rest of us..
Also, please let us know the tests that you have taken during ur prep..

I would appreciate if you could share your experience with all of us. That would be of great help for all.

I gave GMAT last year and got 710. I am appearing for GMAT again. I have few queries too:
1. Is level of Quant in GMAT tougher now as compared to level of Quant a few months ago? The reason I am asking this is that most of the people who score above 700 manage to get score of 40 or more now in Verbal but they are not able to manage score of 51 in quant. Earlier, I had noticed that many people easily get 51 in quant.

2. Secondly, please share all the preparation material that you used to manage such a good score in quant as well as verbal.

HI,
I would recommend Manhattan SC and a very focused study to any GMAT retaker.
U need to find , study and eliminate your mistakes through practice. Tracking your type of mistakes using Excel might also be a good idea.
I found the Quant to be very easy and very similar in terms of difficulty to the 2006 test i took ( The only prep i did both times was reading the formulaes) and i again ended up with 50. Altough i remember making one silly mistake in a work and time related problem
So Dont worry about Quant. Through Testmagic forums, i have learnt that i person can fail to get a 51 despite a stellar performance if he/she gets more than two questions wrong in a row. Again, No one really knows GMAT's scoring algorithm.

LSAT next ten preptests (very good for RC and to some extent CR)
GMATPREP
KAPLAN 800

I am glad I didnt have to open a new thread. I gave my GMAT today. Got 760 (Q50,V44). A bit disappointed with Quant score. But overall not bad. .
