Since u have a tech background, i assume ur quant would be strong. GMAT is more of logic and reasoning than anything else. It is also about time management.
i would suggest that you take the gmat diagnostic test (it is freely available on the net -
www.mba.com). this will help u identify ur weaknessess. Buy specific Manhattan guides, this will help u strengthen your weak points.
Definitely, go thru OG11 and Kaplan 800.
take as many tests as u can - this will help u prepare for test day..
