Hello Keya,
Congrats on doing terrific in the exam and starting such a motivating thread. I am giving GMAT on Sep 5th . I would request you to give ur expert opinions and help in this endeavor.
Preparation till now:
Till now, I have done Princeton, Kaplan and OG once. I know that I need to revise it again properly
Quant Level:
I think if I give the Quant exam carefully, I should be able to get good marks
Verbal level:
Verbal is the problem area for me. Most of the times I am not sure whether the answer is going to be right or wrong. As a result, accuracy level is not good.
I gave GMAT Prep test 1 after going through Princeton and Kaplan. My score was
730 (Quant 50, Verb 3

So verbal is a big problem for me. I would say that even 38 seems to be difficult for me right now. Speed too seems to be a problem in RC and CR.
1. Please suggest something which can improve my Verbal.
2. Also, I have seen many posts where people say that you need to do a) 1000 SC, CR, RC questions b) Manhattan SC c) VJJ and MJJs before appearing for the exam. Could you suggest your views on this. How do u rate these materials. Because I have around 2 weeks left to me, I plan to start something. On an average I study 6 hours per day. (taking into account holidays that I wud b taking in next few days)
3. Also, I saw that you are from Noida. I am also staying in Noida. Is it possible in any way that I could borrow Kaplan CDs from you. The CDs were not available in book when I purchased the same.
I know that how much one needs to prepare depends a lot on his or her potential. but because you have more experience than me, I think your suggestions would be very helpful for me.
I would welcome opinions from other guys too.
Thanks a lot for going thru my long post.
