Here's my short intro - I am a compsci engr, 3.5 years of w.exp, working right now.
I plan to give 'it' in 3rd week of Sept. As for my prep, I have finished OG 10, Kaplan (without CD tests) and done 200 Q's of 1000 SC. For quant I didnt do any particular prep since I did it for CAT last year. On completing OG I found my accuracy between 85% and 90%, while keep time limit.
I definitely want to improve my speed but I am still about my accuracy.
Well, I read your posts and the one thing that struck me the most was ....your list of 250 Idioms. You have mentioned it marked a turning point for you in your verbal prep and I am sure it will do the same for me.
So can you please send it to me? My email is calm.juggernaut@gmail.com
If you have any other suggestions for me, please feel free to share the gyaan!
Best Regards,

Hello NormalGuy,
I just posted that bit about the Idiom list in the prev post. I am so sorry that I can't be of more help here...
I think you're prep is going fine, seeing the material you've covered.. I too, did only Kaplan and OGs, so that ought to be sufficient. You're on the right track!!!
As for speed and accuracy..
Speed= Practice+Practice+Practice.....
Accuracy= Practice+Analyse+Practice+Analyse....

PS...(TO ALL ON THIS FORUM)
Just one thing... I agree with Ankush that it's not a good idea to put your private e-mail in a public post...
However... I'd also like to take this oppurtunity to broadcast a message.
Please do not use the PM service to ask for personal phone numbers!!!! One gentleman was very insistent that I give him my number, in spite of my saying 'No' once. He vowed he would "be in touch for a long time to come".
I'm here to help those many others who are struggling in their GMAT Prep the way I struggled. I had no one to guide me... I'd like to make sure that it's not the way for you guys. I want to help.
However, PMs like that are intrusive, and needlessly irritating. It hurts when I have to be rude.. I hate being rude.
Now that I've said that... it's a load off my chest, and I feel a lot better
Cheerio, all... keep those questions coming... I'll help in every way I can
