Vineet a wonderful Job indeed. I would like to know how much time did you spend on the first 8 Questions in the Quant section of the GMAT? N how much should be ideally spent?

I spent approximately 12-15 minutes on the first 8 questions....was rechecking the answers thrice...and making sure no other option was correct....
There are 10 kinds of people, those who can read binary and those who can't.

Thanks to all the wonderful people and resources here, I was able to go from a GMAT dummy (I didn't know what an OG was! ) to getting 750 in less than two weeks...with about 2 days of preparation...
Special thanks to Arun (PsychoD) for the counselling, the pointers and the material. Thanks also to Amitnsitian and RunTimeError for answering my queries on the GMAT material thread! Thanks a ton guys!
I did the GMAT Prep review material, and gave one of the full length tests the night before my GMAT (got a 740 on that while half asleep at 3 in the morning). Apart from that, I'd just given the Princeton mock GMAT to begin with and gauge my performance (had got a 710 on that). Due to my b school schedule, wasn't able to do much else...
Thanks again for all the wonderful advice!
You all rock!

Vineet...Seriously man ur performance is indeed Deadly! Inspires a lot... But the real essense i guess was ur CAT Preperations. And people shouldnt form False opinions abt preps. They shudnt underestimate GMAT, its a novel exam and has its own tantrums, now there are certain Intelligent as the likes of Vineet who manage the ultimate... Bt then they are wat they are, not wat everyone else is! So be safe, play safe, and plan safe... My 2 cents.
Cheers! Abhinandan.
