Large part of errors attributed to RC ,but sometimes make silly mistakes in other parts (CR,SC) too.
What should be my action plan now, help me out yar ...
I need to score above 700....
Here are my scores

Verbal 800 : 1: 25
Verbal 800 : 1: 30
Verbal 800 : 3: 28

Test No 48 : 680 .. Verbal 38 .. Quant 50
Test No 52 : 700 .. Verbal 39 .. Quant 50
Test No 28 : 660 .. Verbal 36 .. Quant 50

Thanks
Hi Maverick

For All: The scores mentioned by Mave are for ETS retired paper tests (48,52,2. my experience says that you can safely add 20-30 marks to these scores. that should take you to about 700-710 range comfortably.
for verbal: well as they all say, my advice would have been to read and read more. (especially for RC)
in your case, time is short. i wud say, please concentrate more. if you are making mistakes then that's just fine. but making silly mistakes only saps confidence in the period between the tests.

action plan for RC : create a schedule where you would be reading atleast some stuff other than GMAT RCs. kinda like economist/businessweek/new scientist etc. something different to stimulate the mind. maybe even school profiles. that wud boost motivation. the idea is to be exposed to different readings and get refreshed at the same time.

and yes do chill out. there is no point gettting stressed out. you have time on your hands. concentrate and I am sure things wud work out just fine.

Note: the ETS tests do not have much of Std Deviation and like questions (if i remembe correctly). hope you are working on those areas simultaneously? i think getting them right gives you more bang per question so they are really golden nuggets in disguise. just a menacing reputation to carry along

Cheers

yep chennai...
no thunder wonder in that

I've selected Wharton, Chicago, Columbia, Stanford and London. Just like you, i might apply some 2 more in round 1. Not sure...

Looking for a finance profile post MBA - guess that's obvious from the choice of schools

Waiting for these guys to release the app packets
amit dude - finish urs soon. score well ofcourse
we shall embark on the apping journey together...

this moi profile:

BE - Electronics from a "locally" well known college in Tamil Nadu.
Working as software engineer with HCL technologies.
Will have 4 yrs of exp by 2007 July.
10th - 84.36%
12th - 97.25%
BE - 80.75%

Good extra currics - sports and arts likewise.
Not so bad community service.

well mine are more towards a consulting post-mba option. i was originally and probably still a sucker for finance. but then as somebody who wants to set up his own company I think consulting would give me a better and more rounded experience and thereby directly helping me in managing uncertainty so to say. finance is still an option as a major though.
Will have 3 years by July 07.
Acads are not so gud in Engg. Extra-Curr is so-so.
C/S is decent i wud say - especially in coll too.
Leadership abilities to show - straight line from school onwards.
GMAT given
Essays to think about

Lets see. it is going to be an interesting ride though

Cheers and ATB
