Hello Folks,

good to see that i have comrades in arms in this war against the GMAT. I am extremely kicked with my self because I have got my hands on the Kaplan material for the GMAT ... but don't know how good it is. Shall keep the junta updated about the material.

Have you all thought of a tentative date for the GMAT? I was thinkng of giving it on 29th May/5th June.... both are mondays ..... any volunteers for these dates ?

Till later

Peace!!!

Hi varun,
I have already booked my gmat date on 6th July. I think 3 months is a reasonable time you may need. So give a thought to that. But if you have already done some prep before like studying for CAT etc, then 2 months is sufficient. Is that the case with you?
Guys, have any one of you taken the GMATPrep test? I find that to be quite tough. Though I am yet to take the Powerprep test, i feel it is comparatively easier than GMATPrep. Any comments?

Regards,
vinod

Guys, can we meet up sometime this weekend and discuss our plan? I feel it will be a better idea than merely dscussing it on the forum.
Also that will help in getting a better insight into each other plans and progress. We can also talk about our mba ambitions. Do let me know. If possible, drop in a mail at vinod01@gmail.com because i do not keep checking this forum everyday.

Regards,
vinod

Hi GMAT aspirants.......im totally new to this set of threads. All i can say is that as far as Maths is concerned im more than willing to be of help as my maths is on the stronger side. Now as far as my Eng is concerned im doing Wrenin Martin for the grammar part but im still contemplating whether i should take up a Correspondence Package from IMS worth 7k or pick up any SUGGESTED books for practice and the practice online Tests. Any one interested in suggesting what POA should be the best here????????

Hey,

can we have the meeting anytime after the 25th ... i get back on the 25th nite :( ...

@Damian : If you want to blow your/ your fathers (LOL) hard earned money on anything at all , i would suggest that you pick up the GMAT Test CD's ( kaplan , princteon etc etc) coz in the end you will need to work on those... prep material you'll find dime a dozen but you really need to get 8-12 full length tests under your belt.

@ FunkyMonkey : Boost (or is it beer !!!) is the secret of my energy ...LOL .... you think you can take time out on sunday instead of saturday to meet up ??? obviously , that's if vinod is free at the same time.

We need to decide a couple of things if we are to meet on the weekend ( or any other day as a matter of fact)

1. Place -- preferably some place where gooooood coffee is served ... i'm having caffiene withdrawal .... need to have some of that potent decaution pumping thru my veins...
2. Time -- any is good for me ...
3. and anything else that comes into the good pholks @ the thin thread to GMAT Sucess LOL

Varun
Seems like this group has suddenly become very active. I am definitely free on sunday. Is'nt gmat supposed to be the most imp thing rt now?
So then lets fix a place and time.
Place - Of course it has to be some coffee shop. varun which coffee shop do you like?
Time - Anytime after 3pm ( I get up quite late on a sunday ).
Agenda - what else but gmat prep

Regards,
vinod
