GMAT Group in Bangalore

Hi,
I'm Vinod, I'm planning to take up GMAT exam. I don't know how to prepare for it. I've been working in IT from last 7 years. I've totally out of touch.
Please any one put me in proper direction by saying study material, how to get good score in GMAT etc.

Or shall we make group, which we'll help all other guys, who are taking up GMAT. I found out one GMAT Bangalore group but found no conversion after Nov 2005. So I started new thread.

Need help from all you guys.

Also may be you need to put a link to this thread on "calling all b'lore jantha for Cat06" thread. I am pretty sure there are many GMAT guys there

hey plz think twice before you start a new thread, vinod did ya try n read through the earlier banglore group thread..i think not, else you would have realised that there exists a yahoo group for the same "mbanetwrokblr" on joining that group you will discover other fellas with similar goals

Hi guys,
I am Prashant and am planing to take the test by the end of the year. So I had just started browsing through the web for materials, groups, etc.
Though I got a lot of materials from esnips but am not able to judge what all should I use for my prep. I found Prince Verbal and Nova Quant good material to brush up my basics.
Next I am planing to go for OG 10th and 11th edition.
Other materials I found are 1000Ques, GMAT Exam Success, SETS, ETS papers, manhattan, etc. and I am not able to understand which one to plan for the limited period of time.
Those who had used these materials please suggest me which one of these should I plan.
Those of u who r planing for GMAT by the end of the year can contact me if u have any anything to share and all the best to those who are nearing their D-Day.

I am very keen in taking GMAT exam and I have no idea of what material to refer.
I am Software Engineer working in IT from past one year.
Can anyone let me know what all books I have get for preparing for GMAT.
I saw in old mails that there is a GMAT tutor near Forum in Koramangala whose name is Kalyan who is too good.
Can anyone give me complete address or phone number.
Yes we can definitely make a study group here and achieve our goals together.
