. When you will be giving GMAT - Early Sept 2006
. Study Material I am having -
Princetone Review
Kaplan 2006 with CD
Kaplan 800
Kaplan Maths Workbook
Kaplan Verbal Workbook
ACRO Answers to the real GMAT essay questions
Plan to purchase following books -
OG 11
Manhattan's SC and CR guides
. Strength and Weakness in any particular Sections -
Verbal (RC, SC etc)

I plan to undergo classroom coaching

for GMAT preparation.

Kindly suggest me the best coaching

institute in New Delhi for GMAT exam.

It will be great help.

My GMAT Study Plan -

1. Dec 2005 - Feb 2006 - > Classroom coaching and study the coaching
material

2. Mar 2006 - Aug 2006 - > Read GMAT books listed above.

My basic english skills are not up to the mark.

Kindly suggest what should I do.

Hi Delhi folks.....

My plan is verymuch similar to the one given above...so any help /advice would also apply to me.
Parag....mate have been following ur posts for sumtime now....any advice for us GMAT freshers .....regarding when to start preparing/ tekaing exam?..... how to plan out?....preperation period?.........guidence regd study material.

Please dont take this as advise. I dont want to sound that pompous. Just some comments.

What is your work ex ?
If Sep 06 is the target then starting prepn from Dec 05 is a bit too early. You will probably burnout in 6 months.

Good Coaching I heard in Delhi is ********. In Gurgaon I had chosen IMS after I had met the people there. Personally I feel Coaching is of no use. The forums are much bigger help. I had taken because I wanted to get into the study mode (after 10 years of work ex - you need to do that ) and have a few co-preparators. Good Idea would be to attend a few sample classes in the coaching intitutes and or talking to some present students.

Please go thru my posts above - I have tried to put in as much ideas I could - no point in repeating them. For specifics I do hang around and will reply to queries.

wow seeing the preparation time ppl taking out here scares me ... am i giving myself 2 little time2 study.. im giving cat on 20th nov and have taken a gmat date of 21st dec, just over a month2 study ..will start from 21st nov... the advice i have bee given is a month is enough if u study in a focussed manner, gave 1 pratice test didnt do well 650( 75 mins- habit of cat 2 do fast btw no essay) realised could have given myself ample more time and avoided the silly mistakes i made.... so thought a month is good enough but after going through this podt mes a bit scared -- should i fwd my date by a few weekss???

I have 6+ years of technical IT experience.

I am totally out of touch with English and Maths.

I gave powerprep1 and scored very very badly 320/800.

I will also require coaching.

How was IMS coaching?.

I have heard that there study material is quite good.

IMS Gurgaon address required !!!.

Are the classes on Sat and Sun only

or on weekdays as well?.

It is better for me to go for Sat and Sun coaching classes.

What about jamboore?

Jamboore addresses required !!!.

I will study GMAT books from Mar 2006 - Aug 2006

daily I will study for 2 hrs and on weekends 4 hrs each.

Kindly comment.
