Hi Friends,

Myself being a beginner in my preparation for Gmat, have gone through the whole thread and need lots of info from everyone around.
Name: Karan
Location: Gurgaon
Work Exp: Close to 4 yrs now in IT
Academics : Decent
College: NIT Hamirpur, 2005
Gmat material : None

I have heard and read a lot about books and CDs mentioned here.Of these i just downloaded the Gmatprep software from Mba.com
Now some of my queries:
1. Do you people buy the whole lot of books and cds or you exchange it among yourselves?
2. Once i take up the date for Gmat i wish to join the study group, kindly include me in any of your discussion inside and outside this forum?
3. Everyone tells go through the Gmat official guide first? Does dat apply to all?

Kindly take out sometime to go through this post and please give me your valuable suggestions...

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to give the GMAT around July end this year.
I would like to introduce myself.
Name: Amber
Exp: around 3.5 yrs in software startups
Education. Btech in Elec From IIT Delhi and Mtech in ICT from IIT Delhi( Dual Degree course)

I have just started my preparation for the GMAT by starting off with manhattan SC.
As with most Eng background people, English is a definite issue for me.
So I am trying to target the weak areas first.

Do you guys think it is the right approach or should i start off with OG first.

Any suggestions or help regarding the preparation would be great.

its better u strt off with manhattan SC. Much better than og english. quant shudnt be an issue.
