Hey all,

(mrin i liked your idea..so thought will start something similar for mumbai junta..n yes sorry for stealing your thread format..and using it as a template here ;P)

This post will help People in mumbai(western suburbs) to interact, make friends and if possible meet more people having similar goals in life. If the response if good on this post and we have more people, then we can meet sometime very soon over coffee(say alterante sundays).

Please post with the following info:

- Location
- When you will be giving GMAT
- Study Material you are having
- Strength and Weakness in any particular Sections

Myself
- Location - borivali
- G Day - some day in 2nd quarter of 2006
- Prep Material - Princeton Book+CD, ETS Question Papers n some other online material
- Weak in Verbal (especially SC)
- Have only started wth basics of gmat(quant, problem solving 1st chp in pr)..n basically doing some r n d on schools ..and also on how gmat is administered, cat system, changes from 1st jan 2006..etc


Motto: To meet up n discuss various strategies and obvi' to exchange gmat material..which otherwise aint possible..n finally takin part individually in a sport of bring down the G-beast.

Waiting for others to start pouring in with their response n suggestions.

note: registration for jan 2006 n forth will be available from october onwards.

me givin it in NOV 05.. i got no material to study frm.. plzz help me..

2nd quarter of 2006 and u are starting ur prep now
mate i would suggest that study for GMAT in one go and dont go for staggered studing. if u plan to give CAT this year focus completely on it and forget GMAT for timebeing. If u serious for GMAT than plan to give by jan or max feb if u are starting ur prep now.

GMAT is all about finding ur mistakes. A long prep (6 months+ ) means that u focus more on getting answer right than y ur answers got wrong and all those who plan to start their prep go thru this blog end to end and u will realise how to sart and go about ur prep

Planning to give it in dec or in jan
I am pretty ok with quant and lil weak in verbal.
materials that i have are - kaplan gmat 800, barrons, OG and i have some online test materials and a CD.

I stay in colaba and work in andheri (E).

So lets meet up if u can.

look u are the best judge of urself..if you have laready taken part in cat sport then it might be very easy for you..atleast the quant section..about the cds we have been talking over pm' abt it.
