have you given gmatprep ? is it as good a predictor of your actual gmat scores such as powerprep
I think catalytic has given the answer to your query. My scores were 700 and 720 in powerprep, but it was given well before I started reading OG.

On Kaplan higher score tests, I never managed to score above 650

I think maths is slightly harder in actual GMAT compared to that in powerprep. If you need practice, give all the Kaplan tests, and maybe get your hands on Kaplan 800 as well. OG should be sufficient for verbal I guess.

scaled scores of Kaplan are not according to GMAT scoring.. i got a scaled breakup of 50:31 and it gave my score as 610 whereas the same in gmat will fetch me 680.

Looking at ur scores, if u have not given gmat then u are on ur way to 750+

Best of luck

I wish you were true. But I gave my GMAT this monday, and got 730. As I said, math was tougher than expected, and got only 49 . 1 more in maths and I cud have had 750.

Kaplan is the best way to practice hard questions I guess.

an update for all those who are giving gmatprep software test.. there have been instances where in, the math questions are wrongly marked by ETS. So while reviewing be careful and double check ur questions as no explaination of the answers is given

i think posting in the correct thread might elicit a faster and a better response, however no amount of work experience is mandatory for gmat .

with best regards,

yash
