Can anyone help me for my following problems:
1) PLease tell me in detail that what r flash cards. How they can be used to develop vocabulary. I request u please, not to give any opinion saying that use the search function of the forum to find your solution. Please explain me in detail about flash cards and how they can be used.
2) Can anyone send me the details about a thesauraus software ant the link from which it can be downloaded. I have seen that a post regarding this demand was also posted earlier, but no-one replied. So, this time i would urge the moderators as well all pg.com members to help me.

Please help me that which of the following newspapers are best in terms of language, for developing vocab from cat point of view:
1) The hindu
2) The times of india
3) The indian express
P.S. If there r some other good newspapers for reading, please also suggest me.

I want to buy Flash Cards. But i don't know what all brands are available in the market.Can anybody tell me about these and which one has pronunciation, sentences ,synonyms and antonyms. If possible kindly mention the cost also and where are they available.

Hey Meg !
Just a suggestion. You don't really need to buy flash cards from the market. You can simply download flash cards like "Studywiz" from the internet and work with them.
Besides, if you have joined any coaching classes, they also must have provided you with flash cards.
Buy good books like Wren & Martin which can help you better in increasing your Vocab.

Actually i have joined IMS correspondence course. And they haven't provided any flash cards.
Actually i m working and so can't give enough time for vocab preparation...So thought of studing them while travelling.
