here goes my explanation---
the sentences are talking about behaviour/attitude of business executives,
and quoting examples to explain it,
If we look at ABCD we will find that there are two examples(D & A), and one sentence explaining behaviour(C),
left out sentence(B) is talking "Both Situations" so definitely it will come at the end. So we can safely delete 3rd option.
now comes the tough part- assigning examples to the relevant behaviours:
sentence C talks about people who are caught in some trouble and trying to overcome it but at the cost of not looking at the future, now which of the two examples can be related to this attitude? Definitely sentence A, since driver is trying to overcome the problem by changing the tyre but does not realize that an oncoming vehile can hit him. So CA is the link, therefore option 1 is correct.
