Answer - b

Explanation -
"as well as" makes the subject singular. Therefore the verb should be 'is'
In Q1] why cant it be "We look forward to seeing you" i.e option b.

Also just a question , in this mahalaxmi one can i rewrite the sentence as one of the foll : (Also which one )

Mahalaxmi and her two daughters are great at dancing on stage and she has opened a dance school for all those who are interested in learning the art.

AND

Mahalaxmi and her two daughters are great at dancing on stage and they have opened a dance school for all those who are interested in learning the art.

I know the second one is right. Can the first one be considered correct ?

hi @rocha ...seems like the first sentence would be wrong..:because, mahalaxmi and her two daugthers implies there are 2 subjects, 1)mahalaxmi, 2) her 2 daughters...the verb following daughters should be plural and not singular... hence , instead of 'she has' it shld be 'they have' ...hope i'm clear...

Mahalaxmi and her two daughters are great at dancing on stage and she has (they have) opened a dance school for all those who are interested in learning the art. .... [ and this is what has been quoted by you as the 2nd sentence]
