Why is this thread so dead...

Try following sentence correction questions:

Q1] There was no reason for him to be ashamed of having took an immocent journey which he had beforehand suppossed that he should not taking.
  1. be ashamed of having taken an innocent journey which he had beforehand been suppossing that he should not take
  2. be ashamed of having taken an innocent journey which beforehand he had suppossed that he should not take.

my take
1)2...'which beforehand he had supposed that he should not take' is the correct usage here
2)5... 'on the lookout is the correct usage of the phrasal verb'

My take:

1) 2 (be ashamed of having taken an innocent journey which beforehand he had supposed that he should not take.) the modifier is incorrect in the sentence hence we need to correct that ..

2) 5 skills well honed by his work as a journalist and editor, Garreau is constantly on the lookout for the human story behind.

its always on the look out not at the look out.
