Army is singular .......option A,B,C,D all has either "they" or "their" ...so all are eliminated

My take is again E...
A,B & C are ruled as each makes it singular, so it shud be is and are...
D again is grammatically wrong as it shud start with 'There are many...'

OA to follow
in A,"each of which is ready",should be present
in B,"which are each ready",sound incorrect.
in C "each one of which are ready" seems inappropriate.
in D,"The many spare teeth lying",sounds incorrect.

E looks perfect.

my take
option (E)
