A fundamental RC strategy Query - 11-07-2007, 01:34 PM

Hi People,

I have a basic RC strategy query. No matter how easy or difficult the passage is, I am only comfortable with first thouroughly reading the passage and then answering the questions. But people suggest that this strategy should not be followed in CAT. One should skim and then scan for answers. But I actually take more time doing skimming and scanning.

So, guys, what should be done? Should I change my approach of reading the whole passage first and then questions or should stick to it? Please advice.

Regards,
Paras Chopra

Hi Paras,

In my opinion, you should go with the approach you are most comfortable with. (Provided that approach is giving you the expected results).

Also, you may find more help here...
