JUST AS means 'at the same time as'...so it's easy to rule out this option in the context of this question.
--------------------------------
Well, I 've a doubt regarding Q2:
2. It is well known in the supermarket industry that how items are placed on shelves and the frequency of inventory turnovers can be crucial to profits.
(A) the frequency of inventory turnovers can be
(B) the frequency of inventory turnovers is often
(C) the frequency with which the inventory turns over is often
(D) how frequently is the inventory turned over are often
(E) how frequently the inventory turns over can be
shouldn't the answer be D...coz as per parallelism 'are placed' = 'is turned'...
puys, plzz clear this doubt...

option (D) how frequently is the inventory turned over are often
(E) how frequently the inventory turns over can be
i personally think that in option D, there shud be "IS OFTEN" and not "ARE OFTEN" at the end
