I have one very exiting thing to share with u.Competative exam's preparation needs too much of reading and we need to develop our reading speed.I have come across such a product called Bullet Reader which increases yoour reading speed in just 7 days.For that u need to practice it.You can download the demo version of the software from Bullet Reader

not needed now as the pattern of cat is changing
now they have fewer shorter passages and very much material heavy.
they want to understand not only passage and its nuiances but also the thought process of the writer and make inference out of that.

Dude the S/W was good. But i dont think you need to improve your speed so fast. Now a days passages require us to think properly, and in depth. Fast reading might not actually help us here. Otherwise this is good. In general if you want to read fast, I guess this is good. Awesome flash demo dude!!

Infact fast reading might prove counter productive. With the no of answer choices going from 4 to 5 and with almost all the choices seems to fit in the question a missed point or even its interpretation can make a diifference for you.

and if you go just by time/qn method for cat 06 you have 2 min for all questions. Very few have attempted more than 60 that means you have 2.5 per question. now why do u need speed.

Fast reading is helpful on any day... It's definitely an asset to have.

Yeah same was with me!! Well tell you what, just read normally, at your own pace, but try to understand and pick up the finer points. It should help. The S/W aint that bad. If you are focusing for cat, and think this might help you, then you might be wrong!! For your own interest, you may use the S/W. Like if oyu want to read some article/book, fast, then this s/w will be usefull ans you jsut need to know the over all picture and not the details. Where as, like what cat 06 had, you cant read fast, as pointed out by warrior, the optiosn were too close, and one must read with fulkl concenttration and pick up each and every point!!
