First up, musically, these things suck. Putting out a remix is probably the easiest thing in the world (with due respect to the Iceman!). And no one hails these rehashed songs as artistic masterpieces anyways, so in that sense, I think they're right where they belong.
Visually, it's a bit different. It is true that producers look specifically to increase the 'sexuality' (if that term acually fits) into videos, but as someone pointed out, sex sells. And that's all these videos and remixes are about.
But I don't believe they point to a degradation of moral values. Acceptability and degradation are two different things.

Come on, are you telling me that the youth of the 50s or 60s or whatever wouldn't have watched this if it was on TV then?? It's about what's accepted and what's considered to be ok at a particular time. The "older generation" object to this because at their age, that's the right thing to say.
