Hi all!
Last night while coming back i had to pass through a lonely dark alley. Did I say lonely.
There were six dogs.
All big ferocious animals. Howling and barking as if Hitler was fulminating against the Nazis. Ready to charge and tear me apart.
That was some horrifying moment. I was stupefied. I feared for my life.
Then it dawned upon me how it would have felt to have been bitten by a dog. I was fortunate enough to have escaped that trauma as well as the 14 injections.
Fortunate Enough? Yet!
I started chanting the Hanuman Chalisa to give me some peace, strength, and what else you do in an exigency, you pray to god.
Hanuman Ji listened to my prayers.
Actually the alley was divided up into two areas between the 'gangs' or should i say 'families' of the dogs. So when they saw me passing by the first family stard barking. Fearing them the other one reciprocated with louder barks. Scaring the hell out of me.
I passed by meakly, and of course, thanking Hanumanji as well as the dogs to not have bitten me.
But there are many people who may not have been fortunate enough to have a God at your side.

PS: No offences against dogs. They are wonderful creatures.

What exactly is the purpose of this thread? Are we going to discuss what to do in case one is bitten by a dog? Or how to get bitten by a dog if you've never been bitten? Or how to bite a dog in case it bites you? Or just our experiences with strays?

Off topic,but cldnt help putting my thoughts here.This work below is inspired from a poem i heard in NITK festival.Dont know the person but its not my original work either.

aur usse syringe mein dalun,
aur ek pakistani ko ja ke lagaun,

aur apne standard ko samajh jaye,
ki hum uske maalik hain,
pyar se rahega to khush rahega,
pomeranian ke tarah bhaunkega to baad mein "kiyaaun kiyaaun" karega.

i love dogs . had three pet dogs.
have one now .
these canine dogs are intelligent. my dog has learnt how tho open the FRIDGE. yes the fridge
he is just 7 mnths old and he had a feast last night . he did get a wacking after that too .
any idea how much a ST . BERNARD pup would cost ?? .
i have been bitten by my own dog atleast 4-5 times ?
