TIME party for selected candidates- Hyderabad 15th May 2005

Hi guys,

I got a call from TIME office today informing me that a party for selected students would be held on 15th May (this Sunday), 7:30 pm at Hotel Viceroy, Hyderabad.

I thought i'll share this info with our dear forum members so that whosoever is eligible can come and attend it.

I asked the lady on the phone if I am supposed to nring in an identity proof that I was a TIME student and she said that it's not reqd.

Now, there's a selfish aspect to this thread as well.

See, I don't know too many ppl at TIME (wasn't very regular and didn't attend their GD/PI sessions), so I don't know if I 'll meet anybody I know there at the party.

So, I thought, why not convert this party into an opportunity to meet the Hyd PG junta ....so guys, all those who are in Hyd and are eligible to come to this party - please post on this thread , mention a few details and then we can meet there in the party on 15th and have a good time.

The details i propose to share are (my details are mentioned alongside):

GD/PI calls: SP, MDI, IIFT
Final: MDI, IIFT
Heading for: nowhere (chucked both)
Batch at TIME: Ameerpet, weekend batch (CW4G)

so guys and gals, please pour in ur comments/bouquets/brickbats for starting this thread..............

PS2: Also, can ppl who have attended TIME parties in the past enlighten us as to what to expect there- will it be a dull affair or a one?

I attended the TIME achievers' meet in Delhi on the 8th of May. Some selected achievers (moi was one of them!!)are expected to share their experiences with the current batch of students. Then there were some B-School alumni who shared their experiences. Some speeches by the TIME management.....

That was followed by a luncheon at one of the upmarket restaurants of Delhi. It was a lavish affair, with many vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. All in all, it's a grand party, and a good forum for people to meet up and network!

PS: The TIME people are planning another such meet in Delhi in the first week of June.

the party is a place where all TIME students from the city who have been selected to any of the top BSchools are invited. its a dinner affair no bhashans or anything, its a place to meet the faculty, the others headed for BSchools, a photosession and loads of gen Chit Chat........

one query, do they invite anystudent associated with time , i.e postal course students or test series course students? or only those who were in their regular batch?

I was a test series and GD/PI student and I was invited. Even those enrolled only for test series are invited.
