PG Cochin thread... for the lack of a better Title :|

Hi Kochi-ites,
I'm Prithvi, from Trichur, set to join TAPMI this year.
Like RXN said, there are 5 Trichur-ites who're going to join TAPMI this year, and that's quite a lot for a small place like Trichur. Why, even Hyderabad will have only 5-6 TAPMI-ians this year!
Haven't heard of any Kochi-ites joining TAPMI in 2005. To anybody who is: please join our yahoogroup at <groups.yahoo.com/groups/tapmi07>
RXN has compiled a comprehensive list of B-schools from this area, so I guess I don't have much to add. Mahesh Nair (a fellow GEC-ian) is perhaps the only addition, already mentioned, who, to the best of my knowledge is joining IIM-C and not B.
That's it I guess.

I know Mahesh Nair, about his performances, calls and his GF. But the problem was that I wasn't informed about any of his final conversions. Happy to know that he is in. And hey, what about his GF ? Has she made it ? There was a big pal with him always, dont remember his name though, has he made it ?

jO, actually Purvasha and myself belong to the same GD/PI group and we're in touch through our Yahoo! group. About Abhishek, he had a pretty good score in GRE at the time we passed out our BTech, but he opted to work with Infy for sometime and now got into where he originally belonged.

And Rahul, you from Manorama family or something? Just curious about your surname.

Prithvi, I came to your flat on friday only to find that KP is out of town. Hence I returned. Lipjo too was with me. I'll come to your place this week, most probably.

Hey to all the pg junta in cochin and other places in kerala...Im Vivek Menon..joining SIIB 2005 batch....i finished muy Btech(IT) from CUSAT-2004 pass out...So hey to all CUSATians also....
So if there are any pg meets or get together or parties..count me in dudes and dudettes....Also game for cricket ,tt,badminton or basketball.....

I first thought abt giving my views on the CAT preparation and then i realsied one thing...THIS IS PG...THERE A BLOODY LIBRARY OF DETAILS IN HERE FOR U GUYS...So this is the only thing i would say..chillax dudes and be cool and expect the unexpected whe u go for ur CAT...that ways ull always rock it....
As to the topic on why cochin is so un-coool even though we have quite a few facilites here....man its all in the attitude..guess Rahul's sig says it all....so as long as cochinites are not able to pull their head out of others businesses and freaking do something about anything rather than going on strike every other day,theres no way kochi is gonna become cool........So according to me the rulez to cool are
Put ur hands to work where ur mouth is...get ur head outta others shit and sit back and enjoy with freinds,have a few swigs and shake ur booty, and pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzz DON'T FREAKING STARE GUYS AND GIRLZ....

No..I m not related to the Manorama Family in anyway..Though they are in the same faction of the church as us..and was my grand dads friends.(The older generations)...Now no connection at all

This has been tried earlier in Trivandrum and was a failure except for meeting some guys whom I knew earlier like Jugnoo and thereisno2ndtime.

The option instd of a Cochin meet wud be an All Kerala Meet at Cochin.

If the newbie mallus on PG, do not know who I am, well.... very old on PG now, many attempts , finally an SIBM seat.... very much indebted to PG, not for the funda stuff that I got from it, but for the e-ambience and chill out feeling I got here...

And made lots of frnds, inclding mallus like RXN(thadiyan),Rahul Mamman, Antony Chandy, Vimalraj etc etc

So whenz the meet gonna happen...

the cochin thread is bcoming an all kerala thing.
going by the kerala psyche..we shud be starting an union .
all kerala pg association members union..
we can do constructive things like..
1)processions thru busy traffic roads in peak hours and make huge traffic jams.
2)set up a stage in some public place make speeches lambasting ..aaglobalvalkaranam
3)call for a hartal for insufficient representation for kerala students at the IIMs..XLRI etc etc (any institute we can think of)

start getting constructive guyss...

btw..im vimal raj ..from calicut..proper mallu..going to IIMA.
to my knowledge there is a guy called nishantdas (fellow pgite) also from calcut going to mdi ...

. Am a mallu, but am based in Chennai...so dunno if I should be posting here

.... B.Com grad who's getting set to join IIFT pretty soon. Congrats to Rahul, Vimal, Nikhil, Rick and all those who've got final calls from different insti's..... ATB guys!!! Hoping to see more activity on this thread..... keep it rockin' ppl!!!

It takes a lot to conduct a PG meet . Trivandrum meet was a failure, with only Nikhil and me meeting :-D. apart from some ppl from TCS training batch, there has been always "someone + me" ..

But one thing to cheer, morphesus (Vidhyut) and me have a PG meet daily at our office, :-D-D.

Moonstruck, in case you plan to have a treat, Vidhyut and I are ready to accept the invitation.
