India's largest college quiz fest

Hello all,

RV QuizCorp, the quiz club of R V College of Engineering, Bangalore is
proud to announce Under The Peepal Tree 2005, the sixth edition of
it's annual college/corporate quiz fest. Since it's inception, the USP
of Under The Peepal Tree has been original, well-researched,
mindblowing and immensely entertaining questions, thus making sure
that quizzers from all over India make the trip to Bangalore for three
fun days of fundae.

This year, the fest features 6 quizzes (4 college quizzes, an open
quiz and a corporate quiz) with over Rs. 60,000 in prizes. There are
informals on myriad topics to keep the 'specialist' quizzers
gratified.

The details are as follows:

Dates : 20th, 21st and the 22nd of May, 2005

Schedule :

Day 1 - 20th May, Friday
9.30 am - The Major Quiz (General Quiz)
2.00 pm - Ø-Tech (Sci-Tech Quiz)

Day 2 - 21st May, Saturday
9.30 am - Indi-Genius (India Quiz)
2.00 pm - Game Theory (Sports Quiz)

Day 3 - 22nd May, Sunday
9.30 am - Audi Vidi Vici (OPEN Audio-Visual Quiz)
4.00 pm - Fine Answers (General Quiz for Corporates)

Venues :

The Auditorium,
R V Teachers' College,
2nd Block, Jayanagar,
Bangalore - 560 011.

The venue for the Corporate Quiz will be made known in a later mail.

- Accomodation will be provided for outstation teams at nominal rates.
- Teams of 3 for all quizzes.
- No registration fee.

puneet bhai when u have already taken the permission from Zango our spaming elminater than who can consider it as a spam.... ..and contact details r not considered as spam at pg but this r just against the rules...even our pg Adm(allwin) is against disclosing his identity

RV Quizcorp, the quiz club of RVCE is proud to announce Fine Answers, the general quiz for corporates as part of it's annual quiz-fest Under The Peepal Tree. Fine Answers has over the years proved to be a stage where corporate teams from across the country prove to their peers from other companies, their quizzing superiority. Last year's edition saw over 70 teams participating.

The details are as follows:

Date and Time:
22nd May (Sunday), 1:30 p.m.

Venue:
Regency I,
ITC Hotel Windsor Manor,
25, Sankey Road,
Bangalore.

Prize Money:
First place - Rs. 9000
Second place - Rs. 6000
Third Place - Rs. 3000

High tea will be arranged for.
Many exciting freebies and vouchers to be won as audience prizes and in informals on 'interesting' topics.

Regulations:
- No registration fee.
- Teams of 3.
- No mixed teams allowed.
- All team members for Fine Answers need to produce valid visiting/ID cards as well as authorising letters from the HR manager/equivalent of their company/corporate organisation.
- RV QuizCorp reserves the right to deny participation to any team at its discretion.( usually to prevent some quizzers from making up some company names & turning up)

1st place - 4000 rs
2nd place - 3000 rs
3rd place - 2000rs

for the corporate quiz , it is 9000,6000 & 3000 rs.
