Gosh, dude, why did you do that? There's a grey market in every Indian city where you get pirated stuff, software & hardware, music CDs & the like.

well Scorpio thnx for the know-how....now here's a bit of technical enlightment for u as why genuine WINDOWS is better:
- there is sumthng known as WINDOWS VALIDATION which validates ur copy of windows...no updates, patches etc will b available for download frm microsoft's site if ur copy is not valid.
- moreover u try installing VISTA over pirated XP it does'nt work dude
- genuine XP is also required at times for IE7 & Media Player11

Well, I'm happy with my Win 98. No XP, or Vista required by me. As regards patches, I don't need those either, my anti-virus has never let me down, inspite of heavy downloads upto 200 MB daily.
