my all friends use airtel in delhi...they have never complained....so me thinks(i.e. for someone who lives outside delhi,to call up airtel is easy...rarely does one has to wait...)

Here in pune I use Airtel.. and it sucks!! pathetic customer service.. really awful coverage!!
In delhi, I used to have a hutch connection.. and never had problems with it!!

well... in bbombay... i use Dolphin..... n lemme tell u ... all the extra bucks it offers by the way of more talk time n low call rates.... all sets off when it comes to the pathetic reception in specific areas, trains.... and attrocious customer service.... it sucks big time! me planning to switch as well!

See if price is not a factor... Go for Hutch.
otherwise Idea has served me well but it has it's bad coverage areas...
but,
if you have to go on roaming alot...dont think beyond Dolphin / Trump.
all india roaming on the BSNL network (it's wide trust me... it was everywhere on a trip i took to saattaal... its where airtel and the rest dont dare to go)

hey there!
airtel and hutch r pretty much at the same level when it comes to network connectivity and even calll rates. Idea, their network coverage is still not that good, though the rates r slightly on the lower side i think. Dolphin, my friends who use it r always cribbing that the network is real bad, calls keep getting disconnected. I'v had a bad experiance with tata indicom, we got a landline connection from them and the phone was not activated for over a month despite repeated calls!! Expected better service from a tata concern atleast..

airtel in delhi doesnt really come out with good schemes and is also the most expensive...ive been using it for years now....its got good connectivity n customer service...so can opt for it if money isnt dat much a hassle...as in quality comes for a price

to look at it from the other side.... after 5 years i ve not been using a mobile for the last 5 months...life is bliss i tell u...there is no other word...finally i got back my time!!

To be frank there is absolutely not much difference between Hutch and Airtel in Mumbai!
do not go for Bpl it sucks big time 
i have been using bpl for more than 4 years i guess !
The customer service of Bpl is pathetic and not much schemes come out!
am a not a big fan of either Reliance* ( too much discrepancy on their bills) and Dolphin *( service reception is pathetic)
