hmm..all this configuration talk got me head spinning!
depends on wht u plan to do with the laptop, all i use it for is - ms office apps, email, internet. then carry it around and use it for presentations.
so all i look for is lightweight, good back-up and good enuff processing speed (read p III)
on the other hand with the config u guys suggest, i can consider installing Visual Studio, Siebel, Oracle and still have plenty left over for Unreal Tournament and Quake...
btw, do the iims provide a laptop? ne idea abt the config?
...hee hee....anyways, can i mention real cost here??? never know who might be listening in on our conversation...
