Hey guys
the new and improved PG is awesome. Must say that it is indeed the best managed forum that i've ever seen (true to its aim). The mods are doing a great job in tracking down spammers and taking action against those providing false information. it is the ideal website for a guy like me to gain knowledge in preparing for MBA. To say that this website is awesome is an understatement. Kudos to PG and all its mods. The new and user friendly version of PG has ensured that there is only one way its heading and its straight up. But honestly one suggestion i would give to the mods is to create more publicity for the site. Honestly the way i came to know about this site wasn't the best. (I heard this site's name when it came in the news for the wrong reasons about exam results). More publicity would ensure that more people interested to pursue a career in management would gain from the expertise of this website.

Come on guys. Come up with suggestions to make PG even better and voice your opinions about PG. (Needless to say that its onesided).

You've said it pretty well but we..err..publicizing more about ourselves.. ? Where ? Interestingly I've never given PG.com's growth much thought .. I just took it for granted . With respect to our growth, what makes it all the more better is the fact that we've done all of it by word of mouth

As for reaching more people thru other media .. um.. that needs more money. More users..more servers..more servers.. more money.. you get the drift

Now that PG has replied on this thread, I can go ahead & comment!!

Initially I closed this thread. Then decided to reopen it!! We havent had threads discussing how we should publicize PG.com.

Frankly even we are not thinking of any kind of advertising. Mainly because we are happy with whoever we are. This has been more like a word-of-mouth forum where the newbies find their way thro' some person or some link. Once they are here, they are hooked!!

But surely we can discuss the whys & hows for publicizing PG.com!!! Though more members will bring in its own set of problems!!

As of now, we are only looking at others advertising in our PG portal!!

lets retain the word of mouth charm about PG!! and im not sure where to put this suggestion here or in the Tshirt thread [ill put it at both places ]

when we do the Tshirts its better not to put the website address just the logo the name PG or PagalGuy and the tag line...that way we still dont advertise the site but still any PG'ite wud know what it is!! but then again do i make sense??
