about business plan competition, I don't really get them .... I mean how you can plan smting for next 5-10-20 yrs when business dynamics chance every few months ...
does any1 know a person who won a business plan competition & went on to start a really big business on that plan and succeeded?

Me and my friends had participated in a competition organised by S P Jain, Mumbai. I couldnt make it to the competition, but my friends went through and won it.

I never participated in of such competition so far bcoz Frankly, I never got them ...I mean I have read tons of material on business planning & i also went through loads of sample biz plans, but i never got them ....
well, now after looking at the prices, specially ISB's free course , I want to participate in this event ... but my mind is blank when i think about the competition, don;t know where to start .... hope you are getting my pbm ...
by dis word called EXCLUSIVELY i mean 2 say that we will design operations n marketing according to MBA ppl.. lets say ppl h work ex so dey have high purchasing power (compared to b tech)..for dem higene factor counts more n quality 2 ...late nite case presentations actually forced dem to hv different routine...so peak time shall b 11 pm to 5am in morning( though 24 hrs service factor will b there)...atlast u must hv a core competency....though later on v can move to enginees but currently we r planning to target MBA guys....
let's say I am doing MBA from IIM or any MBA insti, where you had put your Food Court & now I want to bring my GF with me but pbm is she is not MBA neither she wish to be ( God Bless her) .... now in this case what need to be done?
Should I get a new GF who is doing MBA / done MBA / planning to do MBA or should i just went to some another food court?

Somebody should probably do a seminar on writing business plans. I have no idea how to write Financial projections and i like to think lots of non-MBAs are just as puzzled as i am over this section.
Btw, the TiE is for incorporated start-ups. Small timers like us dont qualify do we?
i cud nt make myself more clear...EXCLUSIVELY does not means dat only MBA guys can have pizza ..it means dat food chain will be in MBA colleges n shall b open for all ...u might have heard of CHAI UNCHAI which just opened in IIM B ....
