Btw, most of the discussion here seems to be on funding which is just one dimension. The more important thing is the Ideas & plans. What are you planning to do? What is the USP? I see many entrepreneural ventures going down the drain coz they don't have any USP. Neither have they applied porter's forces to good effect.

I think Ideas & business strategy shd come first. Then, based on the plan a feasibility study has to be done - Whether the projected business expenses for a year are within our budget or what kind of financial assistance does it need.

I wud be very happy to b a part of the meet.
But We are having our college fest from 22nd feb to 24th feb, so possibly wont be able to join on these days.
Can the meet be rescheduled after 24th of feb??

Hey, not sure whether right forum or not. But could not find much relevant place than this one!
Please bare with that (Only if I am wrong) & help :!:

I have done B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication.
Goal : To be an Entrepreneur in semiconductor industry/ chip manufacturing most probably in India (Long term goals).

I don't have never seen anyone running business closely in my life, so don't know much about entrepreneurship, so opting for MBA to get equipped with the necessary skills. And, would start entrepreneurship after say4-5 years experience in the required industry.

But don't know which specialization ,or no specialization for that matter, would help me.

As for US B-School, I have heard that they don't have any specialization. You can chose the subjects as you wish to shape your future. So I was thinking, may be Entrepreneurship + Finance subjects would be helpful.
Finance for the matter that it would help understanding resources, both intellectual & financial, organizational structure, & would help me getting finance for the business in future.

This is my perception of finance. And, this is my way to go to goal, however, may be wrong!
Can anybody help me about this? Am I right? If wrong, please suggest any specialization or specific subjects.
