You need to discuss the idea with experts before it can be perfected. Moreover, ideas are dime a dozen. If you want, I can sell you all my ideas as cheap as 5 rs. each. It'll be easy money for me, I guess.

Now comes the second question. With whom can we share the ideas. One which I have come to know from this thread is Nirma Labs. Approaching any VC seems a little early for me as I don't want to sound stupid to them(Since I am a fresher and don't know much about business). But believe me my idea is ready right from research, production to marketing(though i have not written it as a formal business plan).

friend, first of all the first part of this post has the question which I would like to ask u also. Secondly, I didn't get ur idea about "ideas are dime a dozen". My idea is not a petty resturaunt idea. So could u please elaborate on ur statement and that u could sell ideas for Rs 5 each . I thought idea/innovation is one of the major component of success.

actually i am in agreement here. ideas r important, but not to a big
extent. he is right in saying that if ideas were that important, there would
be a market for ideas, wouldnt it? nething with value should sell, right.

the question still remains and would really appreciate an answer to this. Regarding ideas, let me tell u ideas do have a market and they do sell but the point is that u need to be qualified enough(MBA or something) only then people think that idea is decent enough. It's like if a hawker is selling pure gold at dirt cheap prices, will u buy it?? U think that this man is not capable enough.
