Shops to sell of 1st year and 2nd year books - 26-02-2005, 12:54 AM

I want to sell my books of Ist year as well as 2nd year MBA.
Can anyone tell me the shop or place in MUMBAI where I can sell these books. I don't mind even getting 30% - 40% of the listed price.

According to one of my batchmate, I can sell off these books at shops on footpaths around Churchgate. Anyone knows the exact location of such shops.

Thanks in advance

Note: It is not MBA preparation book but actual course curriculum books used in 1st year and 2nd year of MBA.

I have done my MBA in Systems and Finance and I want to sell ALL my books. They are around 40 45 in number. It's just that I can't carry so much along with me.

I don't intend to make business sense out of it, just want to avoid haggling and also want to save time. I don't think I can achieve any of two by selling books individually to people. Only a old book's shop can help me to offload everything at one go. That's why 30% also looks a good deal to me.

Thanks for your offer, but can you tell me from where do ur friends buy their books. I suppose I can approach that shop.

I guess fountains are the Road side book stalls very close to the station itself. I suppose anyone can guide me once I'm there at churchgate station.

btw what are these "normal ook stores" ... anyone you know of that's near Andheri, Mumbai. I don't mind even it's a little far, but should be easily approachable through local trains.

well.... normal book stores... means.... any book store which u find.... selling CBSE, ICSE, SSC, BCom, BE... all these kinda course books.... they have return 70% banners outside their stores. theres quite a few stores at goregaon (W) near the stn... agrawal book depot, bhavesh book depot.. n the like..... also can find them near Matunga (Central) stn.
