A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they hadan argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath.The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning,but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning,
he wrote on a stone:
" TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE. "

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him,
"After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone,why?"
The other friend replied:
"When someone hurts us weshould write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your benefits in stone.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them,

Hey this is one of the best threads...lets relive this thread ....and know what unforgettable thinz our frenz have done for us....their must have been times when most unexpectedly ...some fren must have turned up and helped u in a way where it must have touched u deeply....somepoint where u might have been consoled to an extent that u have developed an invincible amount of love and respect for that person....

Their is nothing more valued than true frenship...!!

well okie lemme start with something...something that happened few years back...umm ..yup 2 yrs back....i had just started my life in the corporate world...their had been some problems goin on between my the then GF and me...but then i had not expected the relationship to be completely shattered due to it....but somehow this happened...i ws at that moment completely shocked....i called up one of close buddies in the middle of the night smewhere around 2-3 am ...of course hez not one of the insomniacs so he ws sleeping at the moment .... on cming across the story he ws obviously shocked ....but then in the middle of the night he smhw reached my home...and reasoned everything out....well i ws awestruck with the attitude...frens who may seem so casual when u share jokes and humour with them ...u actually realise their true value when a situation ure trapped in ....and they come up and suddenly start talking so sensibly...that u'd never expect nor know that they could do otherwise....

well then i realized the true value f frenship ..

Well since then i have been in a FOR loop with new GFs and issues everytime and hes just told me not to callup ...at least in the middle of the night....
