hi ankita ,

the feedback is ......we electronic/electrical chaps have our own 'zoo' under the ageis of IEEE , the mechanical chaps have their own work-shops at AMIE , civil~ians huddle under some other similar roof, the rest of the engg chappies either take shelter under one of these roofs or brave it out .

yet to come across a MBA with registration ( colleagues in banking have done it with CIIAB , and CS/CA have their own elitist-occupation clubs )....but fr general MBA .....don't think so

the word is tht only if u are directly dealing with the public then need such registration(doctor/lawyer/architect/CA/CS....) otherwise it is not there....but do get back to me on this .....bye take care.

hi,
azad:nice to know you have joined pg club.i am sure you wouldnt be asking anyone for info about colleges and interviews anymore.sadly mbamatters has\ soon will be a ghost group after ur exit.you are the pied piper of that group and i hope you would play the pipe one last time and get future aspirants in that group to follow you here.

reg scmhrd:it is a PGDM course[given in the prospectus] and hence its not under any university.

regards
anush

Cool Re: AICTE approved? - 16-02-2008, 09:46 PM

Dear all, First of all I want to say a flying 'hi' to everyone..this is my first post..so i would definetly look for nice responses from every one out there.. I wanted to know about IBS dehradoon (ICFAI business school, dehradoon campus). Firstly is it worth to join it as a full time 2 yrs management course with a significantly high cost! IBS is most probably not recognized by AICTE. Is it essentially to have it for an MBA? It is a new campus, got inception in 2004. So would it be taking risk to have a relatively new college? what are the placement statistics there? Plzz help me friends...I need overwhelming responses from ur side... smiling always...... reply soon bbyee,
