Okie this is one ghazal...that always throws me into deep into self thougt....times when i felt meditative abt the realities of life....i'd just dim the lights of my room and put this song into repeat mode...

"Apni marzi se kahaan apne safar ke hum hain ....
rukh hawaaon ka jidhar ke hai udhar ke hum hain..
Pehle har cheez thee apnee
magar ab lagtaa hai...
apne hee ghar main kissi doosre ghar ke hum hain"

Beautiful isn't it..???

hey never knew this thread existed....i am only too happy to be here...neway my all time fav is chupke chupke by ghulam ali...i am sure this ghazal has got a zillion fans...
and two lines from my side(well....one of my favs...)

guys.....irshaad......

dil bhi ik zid pe ada hai kisi bachche ki tarah...
ya to sab kuch hi ise chahiye ya...kuch bhi nahin...

well...a famous ghazal by jagjit singh...more 2 come as i recall....these guys i mean jagjit singh and ghulam ali r simply too good .... :grab:

Well like all u ppl i too am a a big big fan of Jagit singh & Gulam ali......
