* * *Yep. You've read that thread title right

*PaGaLGuY.com is now an official partner of the Hyderabad 10k run

And for all the non-hyderabadis on the forum, a few lines abt the 10k run... The 10k run @ http://www.hyderabad10k.com is fashioned after the famous Boston Marathon. It is a 10km run around one of Hyderabad's most visible landmark, the necklace road on the 28th of November. This is the second year for the run which saw huge participation in its maiden year.

So all ye members, come aboard folks. Let's have a meet within the run itself

... And since this run is after the CAT, we're looking forward to meeting all ye silent members of the forum who have never made it to a PG meet so far. And yea, in case we get the confirmations of your participation in the run ( one need not run the entire stretch of 10km, thankfully

) , and if it is a sizable number, we shall try and get our junta T-shirts recognizing this wonderful forum....

And yea, all proceeds from the event go to health and fitness programs running in Govt. Schools across Hyderabad. Registration fee is Rs.30/- ; in case u want a tee, it is Rs.130/- (including registration) . And this year, there are participation Tees for Rs.500/-, for which the amount would go to the Chief Minister's fund for saving children's hearts

Lookin forward to seeing you folks in strength there....pm any of the regular HYDies on the forum for our numbers or for any queries you might have

.. Great work there subbu! All yee hyd. folks.. I hope you guys are taking part in the 10K run! You'd be running for a cause and would also be running alongside quite a few of our PaGaLs

.. You could all meet up!

Um.. BTW.. Subbu is VVS Laxman scheduled to drop by to ICFAI ? Can our junta meet VVS L ?

i dont think it would be a good idea to tire ourselves on the day before the CAT.

I always thought CAT is on 21st Nov.

Yay,yay,me not the only one to be tortured!!

It seems we shld inform him a day in advance if we want VVS over...n then he started off how VVS came last time...who started 10K funda (Prof.S.Ghoshal) and blah n blah of his! Patah nahi,I told him I have my hands full already,will look into it later
