sometimes if im on a slow connections LYNX is the boon at that time
LYNX loads everthing faster as its console based. so no rendering of Images. in fact one can even fill in online forms in that, but lacks java support.
For console browsing Lynx/w3m anyday rule when it comes to speed...
w3m scores above lynx as it has got support for frames...(not sure if lynx has that)

Haven't done a lot of browsing on console...Obv anybody not so geek will avoid that no matter what speed he's getting on X

I use MyIE2, it was later christened Maxthon and works really well. Not a resource hog as IE is

I wholeheartedly support Maxthon for *your browser needs !

Maxthon has tabbing too .. I've used Firefox and I gave up .. FF tends to load our forums VERY slowly .. Clueless abt the reason..but that was enough reason for me to chuck it

I use FireFox and it loads the forum pretty fast. Atleast it is faster then IE and Opera.
I use Opera 7.23 (Have not checked for any updates) and IE 6.0.
FF - 1.0 Preview. (I run the bare minimum stuff on FF without any additional plug-ins and extensions).

I haven't tried Maxthon.

I used to use a browser called "beonex", before FF. It is based on Mozilla engine.
I have also tried crazy browser. It seems to be similar to Maxthon. It used the IE Engine.

Hmm.. i want the popup blocker in maxthon but it blocks the pms on pagalguy. I have put prillian on the exceptions list but there is there a way i can allow pms while blocking everything else ?

Man good for you! If you notice the debug info on the bottom of the page if I use FF, I get around 3 seconds, but on using other browsers the time is under 1.5 seconds. Now all the info is server processed, or may be FF has an issue with compressed gzipped files we send out
