hey this thread has brought back many sweet memories!!!.......i too belong to this 'watched DD as a kid' club......i still remember tht every sunday veryy religiously i used to watch Mahabharat...our house was under construction tht time...n every one in our family including the labourers who wer workin used to gather around to watch mahabharat!!!!!............i also loved He-Man, Jungle book, Malgudi Days, Surabhi (i had never missed even a single episode...loved renuka shahane in tht!).......potli baba.....chandrakanta.....and The Famous Five (tht had been telecast one summer during holidays on sumtin cald "chutti chutti" if i remember correctly!)......really used to love those!!!!!!!!

hey guys you people forgot one famous serial "Imtihaan".I still remember its title song.........

"Ankhon mein rok le tu yeh aansuon ka toofan",
"leti hai zindgaani har kadam pe ek imtihaan".

I also liked Chinese action series that was aired on Home T.V.(Now doesnot exist i think).My favourites among them were "Brothers under the skin",and "Zu mountain saga".

But things have changed altogether now,none of those social craps on Star TV keeps me interested.There is not even a single serial that is worth seeing.

There was a detective show which used to be aired every saturday at 3.30/4.00 P.M. (the main actor was Pankaj Kapoor) I used to love it!
Also one show where that PSPO-nahi-janta wala ad-fella used to act, where he unsuccessfully tried to get a proper girl to marry.
