Hey Saby...

one personal advice pls don't get caught up with these buzz words .....power, speed , bhps......this things hardly matter in cities........city traffic is a great leveller.....unless of course you hav mastered the art of riding on Footpaths

So when you choose a bike look for all around appeal ....... I think Riding comfort and looks should be in the top of your priority list.

Guys...
Thanx a lot for all the advices and the refferals...really helped me a LOT..I mean it.
Checked out Hoodibaba,Wind 125,Pulsar 150cc,Fiero F2,Libero,CBZ*...and finally settled on Fiero F2.
Did a lot of research on the bikes since I wasn't doing much before joining the B-school....
Wind 125 I do believe is a great bike...riding comfort is good, nice power, very decently priced....
Bajaj Pulsar 150cc doesnt come w/o DTSi nowadays...and even though I cud have stretched my budget...somehow Pulasr never suited me..i have taken a lot of Pulsars (my frndz)..and the problem is I always get back problems...I have a back problem from my college days and it always gets triggered after riding a Pulsar...
Libero...I would like to discourage other prospective buyers from buying this...there's NO YAMAHA in this bike...I'm a Yamaha lover and would have loved to own the RX135...except for its outdated and burns your pocket with poor mileage...Libero doent stand upto true Yamaha standards at all...
Hoodibaba...is good...a decent bike...but thought I could spend the extra cash so...
CBZ* ...kind of out of my budget..since the disc brakes one comes at 58K+ -onroad price...and also there's no black color in Cuttack or BBSR showroom at present.
LML graptor ..didnt check since I don't have much faith in LML technology.
Finally Fiero F2....I think it's a good bike...checked out all the sites and several expert opinions...the test ride felt Great...
Hope the decision doesnt backfire.

Cheked out the sites www.Mouthshut.com, www.indiabikes.com...etc...and the Overdrive mags...and also the amazing reviews and help from u guys...
certainly PG and PGites rock.

hi,
I am using Pulsor since last year and believe me it is incredible. The only problem being is that sometimes the gear gives minor problems while changing.
But if you want power in decent price range, go for pulsor.
Take a test ride and you will feel the power in your hands.:-)
Have a happy riding,
Rohit

You bet. Looks is what seperates LML bikes from the rest. LML Adreno and Energy can be called as the Best Designed Bikes ever! Freedom lags a lil bit here.

Best Indian Bike Designs - 18-01-2005, 04:51 PM

according to me the BEST LOOKING BIKE is the PULSAR... living up to its Adline "DEFINITELY MALE"

The paintjob and the build quality simply shouts quality; the latest avatar with the ALLOY WHEELS and GAS FILLED REAR SHOCKS (simply delicious) has upped the ante by a few notches

Thank Heavens, the beautifully sculpted body of the pulsar has been spared with wild amateur color splashes with cheap sticker job (for ref. see what Hero Honda has done to the Handsome CBZ, in its new CBZ Star form.. :( ).

Talking about Sticker Jobs, the best that I have seen recently comes from another Bajaj Product.. The Bajaj CT

Even though I am a hard core Yam RX100 fan I can't help but admire Bajaj Auto... Kudos Bajaj Auto and Rajiv Bajaj... U make us Indians proud..
